Has a good variety of shops and is airconditioned. A better selection of food would be welcomed.

Target (could be bigger with more variety). There are a variety of other stores that are useful, like a newsagent, choice, bottle shop, bakery, butcher, RACQ and coles. There a few others, but i haven't visited those. Goldfields is under renovations at the moment so I look forward to seeing improvements. Parking is easy however carparks all throughout Gympie seem small/tight. Car doors seem to get dinted at every spot you park in from shops to hospitals, someone always dings up the panels of your doors. So park across 2 spots!! Lol
Excellent place to shop with new renovations Excellent shopping at Coles with 9/10 selection for food stock. Also with Target and underground parking. This is my preferred place to shop for quality.
The "baskets only" counter checkout operator is responsible also for cigarette sales at the front counter. This requires abandoning the customers already in a line to serve someone who has just arrived at the front counter and today, finding the correct brand took a long time as re-stocking was required.Consequently there were unhappy customers with a few items who were in a hurry.
