Quiet and Cosy. Being honest, after reading other reviews I was a bit apprehensive on staying here but, did not have a single issue with my stay. A friend and I stayed three nights after hiking from the train station after which, the owner was nice enough to give us a lift back to the station. would recommend, great spot for mountain climbing : )

Although a very nice and friendly place, I felt that the amenities especially the ladies needed a thorough cleaning regularly, hand soap put in place as well as hand towels

Owner of campsite is a complete psychopath - avoid at all costs. We are a quiet couple from England (our set up was small car and tent, no sound system or speeding etc) and even though we were the only visitors to this campsite we were bullied and berated as soon as we paid our fee to stay, from being tracked down by the demented owner on a quad bike to having him stand over us as we are forced to pour our only remaining water on our only remaining firewood despite the extensive rulebook permitting fires. Honestly felt this guy had it in for us and could hear him coming by throughout the night near our tent on the quad bike, possibly trying to intimidate us? Being in a strange country on our own without anyone knowing we were at this campsite with the owner terrorising us we packed our soaking wet tent up at 4:30am and waited for the nearest youth hostel to open. Nice to see his family all giving fake 5 stars, amazingly they all know him by name.

Great site, clean with fantastic facilities. Steve is a great guy, committed to the safety of his guests. Hoons aren't tolerated (and fair enough), so if you're planning to test out your off-road Dakar skills, steer clear of this place.

Wasn't a camper but had very professional dealings with Steve, bought (not brought) a cabin off him. Loved his attitude and passion for the history of Cobb and co.Saw all the signs, but hey, just read them, they are there for a reason.Maybe all the negative whingers should have a good long look in the mirror and ask themselves "Am I one of these modern day morons with little respect?"All the best Steve.
